The Mayor's Office recently announced a study on Hartford's public school system to create more opportunities for the city's students. Unlike other efforts that have focused exclusively on cost-cutting, this will be a more inclusive, collaborative process to ensure a more sustainable future for the school district and students. To do this well, we are inviting everyone who is affected by the school district to be a part of the process.
The first thing we're doing is going to you – the students, parents, teachers who make up our school system – to really understand how the school district affects you and what values you think are important.
